Dr. Acosta grew up right here in Edinboro, Pennsylvania, and is a graduate of General McLane High School. She has wanted to be a veterinarian as long as she can remember, and is thrilled to be following her dreams in her hometown.
Dr. Acosta obtained a bachelors of science in Biology from Gannon University, where she was awarded for research in genetics. She obtained her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, completing her clinical year at The Ohio State University. Her special interests include orthopedics, neurology, rehabilitation, and behavior.
Away from the hospital, she can be caught reading, watching musicals and marching bands, and spending time with her family and fur-babies, Noble and Kiara.
